Mission Statement

Youth Empowerment Services is a non-profit organization offers home visiting for families in Colfax and Union Counties in New Mexico. Services include drug and alcohol prevention, home visiting, and health counseling. Home visiting is a free service offered to pregnant women and families with children from 0-5. They help prepare parents to cope with the everyday stressors associated with the transition to parenting, which are inevitable when a new baby enters a family. There are no first-time parent requirements and individuals can enroll prenatal until child is 3 years old. They serve Colfax County and areas of Union County, specifically the Clayton area.
